Lyden er udviklet gennem en indspilningsproces i studier og øvelokaler over et år og er blevet destilleret til en selvbetitlet debut EP, der udkom oktober 2017 og står som en introduktion til artisten og fundament for fremtidige udgivelser.

Acclaimed indie-rock songwriter Jeffrey Lewis began recording homemade cassettes at home in New York City in 1998, before coming to the attention of Rough Trade Records and releasing his first album on Rough Trade in 2001. Now with seven official albums on Rough Trade, and a number of additional self-releases and side-projects (on labels like Don Giovanni and K Records), Jeffrey Lewis and his various bandmates have toured the world and developed a devoted following from Los Angeles to London, Melbourne to Moscow, Chicago to Shanghai and beyond. Jeffrey’s career has also included sharing bills and tours with The Vaselines, The Fall, Stephen Malkmus & The Jicks, Roky Erickson, The Mountain Goats, Daniel Johnston, Pulp and other luminaries. In addition to mixing contemplative folk narratives and garage indie-punk songs, Jeffrey is also a comic book writer/artist and includes his own illustrations in concert to accompany certain songs (like “The History of Communism” or “The Creeping Brain”). Appearing in the past as Jeffrey Lewis & The Jitters, Jeffrey Lewis & The Junkyard and other touring ensembles, his current band incarnation is Jeffrey Lewis & Los Bolts featuring Mem (Cat Tatt, Fem Doms) Pahl on bass and Brent (Dufus, Moldy Peaches) Cole on drums. Sometimes his long-time collaborator (and brother) Jack Lewis makes a guest appearance at certain gigs, adding additional bass, keyboard, percussion, vocals and other sounds. Jeffrey has self-published twelve issues of his comic book series Fuff, and Jeffrey’s writing, illustrations, comic books and music have been featured by The Guardian, NPR, The History Channel, Die Zeit and The New York Times.

In February the new album from DEAD BRONCO is due! The past two months they’ve been locked up in our rehearsal room practicing and preparing the new show and everything is coming out smooth like butter, but what would expect from such a team; Adán Gómez (mandolina/guitarra), Joel Bruna (banjo), Guille Peña (batería), y Adrian López (contrabajo). A first class posse that sounds like a punch in the face. The album is called DRIVEN BY FRUSTRATION, and we´re recording with Alex Pis from Drive Division Studios in Santander. A new sound has been born and they are calling it AMERICANA SLUDGE. A taste of thrash metal, hardcore punk, doom but with a traditional americana base. Ya´ll gonna poop your pants!
Dead Bronco was formed in 2012 by frontman and Florida native Matt Horan. The band has gone from playing the street corners to being one of the most sought after bands in Europe. In 2012 they were awarded “Best Music Video” by CineMad… which lead to the bands recognition by the BBC as one of the most promising bands of 2013.
They have three albums and one ep (In Hell, Penitent Man, Moaning the blues, and Bedridden & Hellbound) which have received an enormous amount of support by critics and the general public. In 2015 they won the ” Premios Rock Villa Madrid” award for best national band out of 400 participants, “Pop Eye 2015” award for best national rock band and have been selected by GPS out of 600 participating bands, to conduct an extensive national tour. The band has participated in Europe’s main music festivals such as Sziget Music Festival Budapest 2015, Muddy Roots 2016, Mundaka Festival 2016, etc.
They don’t just limit themselves to music but they are also immersed in other projects; Matt Horan plays the lead role in the thriller THE NIGHT WATCHMAN (filmed in the USA and Spain) and the band composed the movie sound track. The film was released in cinemas July 29, 2016 and is now available on NetFlix and DVD. But let’s not stop there, the band has even commercialized their own beer label “La Bronca”.
Dead Bronco is currently promoting their fourth album “Bedridden and Hellbound” , released February 2017, with an extensive U.S. and European Tour.

Toundra is about to enter the studio to record their fifth studio album following the success of ´IV´ which reached an historic #2 in the Spanish charts. The new album, which will come out on InsideOut/Century Media, is still without name but already has a release date confirmed, 27th of April 2018.
The band states “2017 marked our 10th Anniversary; we spent the first half of it celebrating it onstage throughout Europe and the second one writing our fifth album. We will be recording it in Catalonia with Santi García and we have the feeling that it will turn out being a revisitation of our origins as a band. We are coming back, and we hope you are glad about it”

Slægt started as a solo-project of Oskar J. Frederiksen (lead vocals & guitars) in 2011. The beginning saw Slægt delve in raw and primitive black metal aggression. Over time the band has developed into having a full line-up now including Anders M. Jørgensen (guitars), Olle Bergholz (bass guitar) and Adam ”CCsquele” Nielsen (drums). Although the current version of Slægt seems to have progressed a lot since its early days, the essence still remains untouched. Stylistically influences are now drawn from a broader spectrum from such diverse movements as the NWOBHM and the black metal scene(s) of the 80’s and 90’s. Slægt delivers what can be best described as an epic blackened heavy metal with lots of catchy moments, played fast but without the usual blastbeats, exploring sound patterns that seem familiar, but always making them sound fresh. The darkness within the riffs and lyrics flows with dark blasts of energy.
The band has, in the current constellation, released the EP “Beautiful and Damned” (Iron Bonehead Productions), which came out in December 2015, and the full-length “Domus Mysterium” (Ván Records), which came out in May 2017. Both releases have received great reviews, at home and abroad, and with a victorious concert at the Copenhell festival, in Copenhagen, June 2017, the band has cemented its place as one of the most exciting and promising bands on the Danish metal scene.

The sonic vessel ENCYRCLE appeared on the map in 2015 with a widely praised eponymous debut album, by many referred to as ‘nocturnal speed metal’. While speed is characteristic of a vessel, it is not essence. ENCYRCLE is the story of the journey into the Other, nightly Sister and Source, where all things are lost and gained in an otherworldly ecstasy. Their stage becomes a meeting ground for dissolution and dawn, violence and melancholy. Thus, in the shamanic vein of every potent rock ‘n’ roll artist of past, ENCYRCLE play the night’s heavy metal. New WIEGEDOOD album ‘De Doden Hebben Het Goed III’ out on April 20th 2018 (Century media records)
“I, II and III all focus on the subject of loss,” say WIEGEDOOD in a collective statement. “It’s inherently in our nature to desperately hold on to the people and the things we love. All three records are dedicated to Florent Pevée [from Kabul Golf Club], a close friend of Wim [Coppers] and a great musician who lost his life at 21. This is our way of honoring his life.”
As the final part of the De Doden Hebben Het Goed trilogy—which translates to English as The Dead Have It Good—WIEGEDOOD’s newest album, De Doden Hebben Het Goed III, is a natural extension of its predecessors. What the three albums share sonically—a violent yet epic brand of black metal—they also share thematically and physically. III blends the atmospherics of I and the aggression of II. The band says they’ve “found the perfect crossover.” WIEGEDOOD have also found a four-song formula that affords the trio latitude to explore without the wearisome effects of interminable concept album lengths. And finally, the albums also benefit from similar covers—photographed by Stefaan Temmerman—where nature and the WIEGEDOOD sigil play important parts of the whole.
“Our logo represents our band perfectly,” WIEGEDOOD asserts. “So, we felt that just our logo and the soil which it is planted in, would be great for theses albums. The picture for III was taken in Sint-Eloois-Winkel, a small town near Kortrijk where Levy [Seynaeve] grew up. Subsequently, the cover for II was taken in De Haan, where Gilles [Demolder] spent his childhood and the first cover picture was taken in Ransberg, where Wim grew up and is still living today.”
As a band that has common membership with Belgian post-black metallers Oathbreaker and post-metallers Amenra, finding time for WIEGEDOOD—pronounced We-guh-doad—isn’t a challenge, but rather a directive. Time must be made and spent on behalf of WIEGEDOOD not in spite of it. Musically, the group don’t see similarities in or with Oathbreaker or Amenra, however. With this distinction the Belgians are empowered to express themselves singularly. As a result, the writing sessions for III (and its predecessors) don’t ‘bleed over’ or ‘bleed through’ with the band members’ other projects.
“Because of our busy schedules playing and touring in other bands, all our songwriting sessions are extremely productive,” says the band. “We know how little time we have and we set even tighter recording deadlines to push ourselves even more. All songs are therefore written for III. There is a clear evolution between all albums.”
Recorded by Christophe Dexters at House Rott Child Studios in Belgium over the course of 10 days, III is clear and powerful yet nuanced and nimble. Unlike WIEGEDOOD’s peers, III pivots on a different thought axle, where loss and reflection, anger and desperation are imbued into everything. To capture the essence of III—tracks like ‘Prowl’ and ‘Doodskalm’ highlight WIEGEDOOD’s tumult—the Belgians re-hired Californian Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Oathbreaker) to mix and master at his Atomic Garden Studios. The result is overwhelming yet distant, dangerous yet tactful.
“House Rott Child Studios is the perfect place for us to record,” WIEGEDOOD say. “Because there isn’t that awkward engineer/producer/musician relationship. Christophe knows exactly what kind of sound we are going for and we know how he operates. This is why we love going to House Rott Child Studios so much. We feel right at home because of our previous experience recording there. We had the time to experiment and try out new ideas. In the studio we basically use the same set-up as we do live.”
Previously, the trio were with Belgian indie ConSouling Sounds for albums I and II. Now, WIEGEDOOD have signed over to Century Media Records to release III. With III ready to dominate, a new label supporting, and a broader audience waiting, WIEGEDOOD are poised to take their black metal marque beyond the confines of Europe.
“We’re excited to see where 2018 and the co-operation with Century Medial will take us,” say WIEGEDOOD. “There are a lot of plans for 2018, a bunch of concerts are lining up and we’re going to play on new continents.”
